ARISE — WORKOUT RPG
Terms of Service
Effective 14 September 2026
The terms for training, tracking and levelling up with Arise—including safe use, subscriptions, your content and your rights.
1. Your agreement with Arise
These Terms govern Arise — Workout RPG, its website and related services, operated by Paul Smith (“Arise”, “we” or “us”). Please read them before using the service. By using Arise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at paulrsmithjnr@gmail.com if you have questions.
Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and your choices. Agreeing to these Terms does not override optional permissions or consent required for particular processing. Non-waivable consumer and privacy rights continue to apply.
2. Age, accounts and security
You must be at least 13 to use Arise. If you are under the age of legal majority or cannot independently agree to these Terms or relevant processing where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree with you and provide any required permission. Do not use Arise where doing so would breach an applicable age restriction.
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and do not use another person’s account without authorization. Let us know promptly about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize, but these Terms do not make you responsible for loss caused by our failure to meet an applicable legal duty.
3. General fitness, not medical care
Arise provides workout planning, logging, progress information and motivational game-style features. Arise is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide medical care, emergency monitoring or personalized advice from a licensed healthcare professional.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice and before making changes that may affect a medical condition, injury, pregnancy or other health concern. Younger users should seek appropriate adult and professional guidance. Choose suitable loads and activities, use safe technique, allow recovery, and stop if you experience pain, dizziness or other concerning symptoms. Seek emergency help when appropriate.
Plans, AI-generated suggestions, challenges, daily goals and progress estimates can be incomplete or unsuitable. Review and adapt them to your ability, equipment and circumstances. Do not complete an unsafe activity to obtain XP, maintain a streak or satisfy a challenge. Arise does not guarantee fitness, weight, strength or health results.
4. Plans, logging and progression
Available features include generated and custom plans, permitted edits, workout logging, history, analytics, quests, ranks and challenges. Features may depend on your subscription, platform, supported device, permissions or service availability. AI-assisted features use external processing as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Offline logging is supported, but synchronization, account recovery, generation, entitlement verification and some progression checks require connectivity. Conflicting or unverified records may need resolution before credit appears. Keep your app updated and check that important records have synchronized. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that third-party health and store services will always respond.
XP, ranks and in-app achievements are motivational records, not money, property, prizes or medical assessments. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for payment. We may correct technical errors or abusive progression subject to applicable law; purchases do not guarantee a particular rank or outcome.
5. Subscriptions, introductory offers and cancellation
The app can be downloaded without a download charge, but a paid subscription is required for subscription-protected training features. Available plans, billing periods, prices, taxes and any introductory offer are shown in the app and the Apple App Store or Google Play purchase confirmation. Availability and eligibility vary by store, account and region.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is charged through the store account you use. Unless cancelled within the store’s applicable cancellation window, the store charges the stated recurring price for the next billing period. Manage cancellation before the renewal deadline shown by your store; Apple generally requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
A discounted Starter Week, when offered, is a paid introductory subscription period, not a free trial or a one-time purchase. After the introductory period it renews at the recurring price and interval disclosed at checkout unless cancelled. A new Arise account does not necessarily reset your store’s introductory eligibility. Do not confirm a purchase if its native confirmation does not show the terms you expect; contact support instead.
Manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings, or a Google Play subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; access generally continues through the period already paid for, subject to store rules. Refunds are handled under the relevant store’s policies and applicable consumer law, and are not categorically excluded by these Terms.
Uninstalling Arise or deleting your Arise account does not cancel your subscription. Use the store’s cancellation process separately. Restore Purchases checks existing store entitlement; it does not create a new purchase or guarantee an introductory offer. Cross-platform access depends on a verified entitlement and the correct linked Arise account.
Price changes and renewal notices follow store rules and applicable law. We do not change an agreed billing price merely by editing these Terms.
6. Your content, Guilds and sharing
You retain your rights in the workout records, notes and other content you provide. You grant us only the rights necessary to host, process, synchronize, display and transmit that content to operate the features you choose, including processing described in the Privacy Policy. You must have permission to provide or share it.
Invite-only Guild features and intentional share links or exports may reveal your chosen identity and progress to others. Review what you share and who can access it. Recipients may keep their own copies; deleting an account or link cannot remove copies outside our control. Do not submit private information about someone else without permission.
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against or endanger others, or share unlawful content. Use available reporting tools or contact support for concerns. We may remove content or restrict abusive use proportionately to protect users and the service.
7. Licence and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms and any required subscription, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Arise. Arise’s software, original artwork, branding and other materials remain owned by their respective rights holders. Third-party exercise materials remain subject to their applicable licences and attributions.
Do not resell access, distribute the app outside authorized channels, bypass purchase or security controls, automate abusive requests, falsify records to exploit progression, introduce malicious code or infringe others’ rights. Reverse engineering restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law; these Terms do not remove statutory interoperability or other rights.
For an iOS app licensed through Apple without a separate custom EULA, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app licence. These service Terms do not replace the store’s mandatory rules. Apple is not the provider of Arise’s training service.
8. Ending use and deleting your account
You may stop using Arise at any time. Delete your account through Profile → Delete Account or our public account-deletion request page. Identity verification may be needed. The Privacy Policy and deletion page explain what is deleted, what may remain and the processing timetable.
We may suspend or terminate access for a serious breach, fraud, abuse or a legal requirement. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Any refund or other rights required by law or store rules remain available.
9. Responsibility and your legal rights
We aim to provide a reliable service, but software, generated content and third-party integrations can contain errors or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without additional promises beyond those expressly stated in these Terms. This does not exclude any legally required warranty, quality standard or remedy.
We are not responsible for problems outside our reasonable control or losses caused by misuse contrary to reasonable safety guidance, except where applicable law makes us responsible. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited.
These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a waiver of statutory consumer rights. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law determines your rights and the competent courts; you retain any mandatory protections and court access available where you live.
10. Changes and contact
We may update the service or these Terms for feature changes, security, legal requirements or other legitimate operational reasons. The effective date identifies the current version. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and seek agreement where required; changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you do not wish to continue, you can stop using the service and cancel future subscription renewals through your store.
